Training Program on Agriculture Value Chain Financing

17th January 2018

An Orientation and Training Program on Agriculture Value Chain Financing was organized in Kathmandu and Biratnagar respectively in December. The training targeted mainly the credit officers of different financial institutions.  The training was conducted by an international consultant and was successful to enhance the knowledge of the participants from banks and financial institutions around agriculture value chain financing. It is expected that this will further enable the BFIs to customize and/or develop new financial products and services to better meet the financing needs of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and increase investment in agriculture.
